The hydrocarbons occurring within the refinery are further treated in various processes according to requirements for special end products and composition. The sealing of flammable and explosive media mixtures (in compliance with the German Technical Instructions on Clean Air Control (TA-Luft) and the ATEX guidelines is one of the biggest challenges facing sealing technology in these processes.
